Weekend Reflection
Just a few thoughts as we continued on with the "Why Me?" Series on Job...
When (not if) we have our dreams crushed, we can be assured that God allowed it to happen for a reason and if there is still air in your lungs, watch with anticipation to see what God reveals.
When (not if) we find our strength sucked out of us, the best thing we can do is ADMIT it. We will never come to know the full extent of God's grace until we admit our inabilities.
Determination can be your greatest asset, or it can be your greatest liability.
Absolutely powerless...that may be exactly where God wants you right now.
Many feel they are too weak in the flesh; the problem is just the opposite. They are too strong in the flesh.
Here's one to wrestle with...Do you follow Jesus because of the benefit package or simply because of WHO HE IS?
When (not if) we find ourselves waiting on God, we can be assured His timing is always perfect... And YES, I did sit in a waiting room for an hour and 45 minutes!
Next week is the wrap up on the Job series. I can't wait to start the "PRAISE" series starting Nov 22nd.
This is the last Wednesday the youth will be meeting at the middle school for youth group. On the 18th we will be meeting at the new teen center in downtown Pulaski. I'm absolutely convinced God wants to rock the world of many more teens in the area!
