Commitment Sunday
Sunday Night Reflection
Well the weekend is now wrapping up and what a weekend it was! Friday night's banquet was such an amazing night with some of the best people I know, that would be the family of New Life and other guests impacted in some way by the hand of God through New Life.
We got to look back over the last few years and simply stand in awe of what God has done. Borrowing a line from Nicole, (my number 3 blessing) who would've thunk? The banquet message will be on line soon at www.PulaskiNewLife.com. We also unveiled the picture of what the home of New Life will be. I can't wait to see 1,000's of lives transformed by the Lord in that facility!! I'm absolutely convinced the Lord is going to blow our minds. Many gave generously to help see the project come to fruition.
Yesterday Trudy and I had a "Check Writing Celebration" moment as we prepared to give our very best first offering towards our Building Hope pledge. WE WERE PUMPED to write that check and stick it in that little white envelope and have it ready to put in the basket this morning.
This morning, 10 am could not come soon enough. I felt like I had 6 pots of coffee flowing through my veins...I could hardly wait to share with the New Life family God's word and then step forward as a church family and give our best towards expanding God's kingdom in our area!!!
What a great moment in the history of our church as we step through the process of surrender, the process of faith and now we get to see how God multiplies what we put in His hands. As folks stepped forward with their commitment cards, they said, "My best for You" and we let out a good ole fashion celebration cheer as we partner with the CFO of New Life.
FRIENDS...THIS IS LIFE!!!!!!
