Road Construction

The signs read, "Fines double in work zones" trying to get us to understand the importance of slowing down and being alert in areas where crews are working along side the roads.

I'm still curious on the educational training required to be the sign holder...you know the SLOW/STOP sign when they have only one traffic lane open. I'm guessing good hand eye coordination and good communication skills with the person on the other end of the project site.

Not only do they have signs out there, but the guys, (and gals) also wear those blinding blaze orange vests to help you notice them.

It's interesting how God slows us down at times to teach us lessons, yet we are in a hurry so often, we fail to notice what He's trying to teach us.

When God allows circumstances in our lives that slow us down, that's probably a good indicator that an area of our lives is in need of maintenance or repair.

So what's the project in your path?

Question for ya'll:
I jotted this corny story a couple years ago, but it's got a decent message I think.
It's about 1400 words.
I need some feedback on this...
